From 2014 to 2018 I mainly worked for two companies with my primary role being marketing. Although my job title’s point towards marketing my daily duties heavily involved graphic design, event & project management, webinars and also IT support. During this time I also worked with some local start-ups and establised businesses. I often still give marketing consultations to businesses.
In 2019 I took a slight career change and moved into Media as a Media Operations Manager, it felt like a natural transition with me being tech savvy and creative. Since then I have progressed to a Playout Director, now managing the broadcast of several television channels. Whilst working in Media I have worked for a vast number of UK clients: Channel 4, BBC, Channel 5, UKTV, Eurosports, Warner Bros, Discovery, Kerrang, Kiss and more. I have also worked with international channels SBS (Australia) NHK (Japan) and Scandinavian free to air channels. Gaining an extensive understanding of different workflows from ingest to VOD / transmission. Currently predominantly freelancing at Warner Bros.
My experience has mostly been in post-production but I have many transferable skills that transfer well into production including excellent attention to detail, fast reactions and live multi-screen managing. With going freelance I’ll be looking to expand my involvement in television and film production.
As of 2025 I live between Kent, UK and Riga, Latvia.
